  3. but VideoTXT is until now an german-only release.  There is no english
  4. program and no english documentation available.
  5.  
  6. So here in short, what VideoTXT is about:
  7.  
  8. VideoTXT  is  a  combination  of software and hardware that is able to
  9. decode  and  load  the  videotext/teletext-pages  broadcast  with many
  10. european  television-programs.   VideoTXT  supports special characters
  11. for all countries!
  12.  
  13. You  be  able  to  load and save, print and manipulate the pages.  Get
  14. your  NYSE,  DAX  and  FT100  or  the  temperatures  for your holliday
  15. location.
  16.  
  17. Of  course all this features are programable and will work during your
  18. absents.
  19.  
  20. VideoTXT features TOP-text, runs on custom-screens or Workbench - even
  21. on  WB-emulations  used  by  several  graphics boards such as Piccolo,
  22. Picasso etc.

  24. Videotext/teletext  features a highly precission clock, load this time
  25. directly into your amiga.
  26.  
  27. So what do you need to use VideoTXT?
  28.  
  29. Any Amiga with 512KB or more memory, OS 1.3 or better, a free internal
  30. serial  or joystick-port, a FBAS/CVBS-signal from your TV/VCR or other
  31. sources   and   of   course   a   television  program  that  transmits
  32. videotext/teletext-pages.
  33.  
  34. (Note:   Some  features of VideoTXT are only available unter OS2.x and
  35. with  equal  or more than 1MB memory!  We tested it with a plain A1000
  36. and with a 12MB A4000/040!)
